Ramon Robertson‘s recent exhibition: Natural Habitats has been generously reviewed by Michael Dunn in Art New Zealand. Dunn writes or Robertson’s work:

“These are anonymous figures with reminiscences of Rene Magritte’s 1964 Son of Man in their hidden features and suppressed identities. How we look ad how we see – and are seen – is part of Robertson’s agenda. Two remarkable works depict eyes looking out at us from tubular supports.. These artworks look at us, thus introverting the normal viewing process”
