Oliver Cain wins Tuatara Award & Overall Supreme Award at Dowse Museum – 2019

Congratulations to Oliver Cain for yet another two awards this week, at the ECC Design Awards hosted by The Dowse Museum. Oliver’s Banana Bowls won both the Tuatara Ceramic Award, as well as the Overall Supreme Award!!  Both bowls will be exhibited at the gallery though-out December.

This is hot on the heels of Oliver’s recent success as overall winner in the Eden Arts Trust Art Schools Award.  Oliver is a talented 3rd Year BCE Contemporary Arts Student who graduate next week. He was also was recipient of one of the Highly Commended awards in 2018 at the ECC NZ Student Design Awards, and is a current Wallace Award Finalist.
