Elle Föenander Featured in Fashion Quarterly’s ‘48 Hours in Singapore’

Föenander Galleries founder Elle Föenander takes Fashion Quarterly through Singapore, reflecting on art, architecture, food and culture during her visit to Art SG.

Föenander Galleries founder and director Elle Föenander has been featured by Fashion Quarterly in a new travel feature, 48 Hours in Singapore with Gallerist Elle Föenander, offering an insight into her recent visit to the city for the fourth edition of Art SG.

Published on 10 February 2026, the feature retraces Elle’s time in Singapore as she travelled to participate in the international art fair, where Föenander Galleries presented Both Skin and Story - a four-artist exhibition celebrating the work of Israel Tangaroa Birch, Monique Lacey, Monica Rani Rudhar and Professor Robert Jahnke ONZM.

As the only New Zealand gallery represented at Art SG, the fair marked a significant opportunity for Föenander Galleries to present the work of leading Australasian artists to an international audience. Beyond the fair itself, Fashion Quarterly follows Elle through some of her experiences across Singapore, offering her perspective on the city’s distinctive combination of art, architecture, food and design.
