Auckland Art Fair 2020 Goes Virtual.
In light of the current global situation, Auckland Art Fair made the decision earlier this year to postpone the fair until February 2021. However, we are pleased to share that Auckland Art Fair will be staging a virtual event at the end of this month. The Virtual Fair will open for VIPs on 29th April 2020, before opening to the public on 30 April – running until 17 May.
We are proud to be apart of this event which hosts over 30 galleries from New Zealand, Australia, Europe & Asia. We will be presenting works by Simon Ogden, Cathy Carter, Billy McQueen, Oliver Cain which were meant to be seen at our booth, prior to the cancelling of the physical Art Fair, earlier this year.
The co-directors said of this years initiative: “All around us right now, we are hearing of the importance of art – something we know to be true at all times, but especially in troubled times. The Virtual Fair will never replace the real thing, but it is a unique opportunity during these times to browse at leisure, get to know new galleries and support contemporary culture”
Visit the Auckland Art Fair website for more information. The full suite of works can be viewed on our website and to aid with your art fair experience, we will also launch our online viewing room for the presentation.
